Computer Literacy & Digital Skills Classes
All classes are completely free and taught in small groups with hands-on, personalized instruction by Penny Roskey.
Computer Basics for Beginners
Start from scratch with our beginner-friendly course. Learn to turn on a computer, use a mouse and keyboard, navigate Windows, manage files and folders, and print documents. No experience needed — just bring your curiosity!
Duration: 4 weeks (2 hours/week)
Level: Absolute Beginner
Email & Digital Communication
Master email with Gmail, Yahoo, or Outlook. Learn to compose messages, attach photos, organize your inbox, and communicate via video calling with Zoom, FaceTime, and Google Meet. Stay connected with family and friends wherever they are.
Duration: 3 weeks (2 hours/week)
Level: Beginner to Intermediate
Online Safety & Scam Prevention
Protect yourself in the digital world. Learn to identify phishing emails, recognize phone and online scams, create strong passwords, use two-factor authentication, and bank safely online. Real examples from actual scams targeting seniors.

Bring your own device and learn how to make the most of it. We cover iPhone, iPad, Android phones and tablets — apps, camera, texting, voice assistants, accessibility features, and more.

Join the conversation! Learn Facebook, share photos with family, adjust privacy settings, join community groups, and explore YouTube. We focus on staying safe while staying connected.
Format: 2-week course (1.5 hours/week)
🏥 Health & Telehealth
Access your health online — patient portals (MyChart), scheduling appointments, telehealth video visits, managing prescriptions, and finding trustworthy health information.
Format: Single 2-hour workshop
🛒 Online Shopping & Banking
Shop and manage money safely online. Learn Amazon, online grocery ordering, paying bills, checking bank accounts, and recognizing fraudulent websites before entering payment info.
